Masaru Sugiyama

We are honored to welcome Masaru Sugiyama as an advisor and board member at E‑HOUSING. Masaru is a seasoned finance professional whose career spans global investment banking, startup growth, and leadership at scale.

Since November 2023, Masaru has served as SVP & Group CFO at RAKSUL INC., where he leads group-wide financial strategy and investor relations. He also serves as CEO of RAKSUL BANK, initiating and overseeing the launch of an B2B online bank. Alongside these strategic roles, he has been Chief Research Officer at Yamauchi No.10 Family Office since 2020, guiding investment research and portfolio strategy for the Nintendo founding family.

Previously, Masaru was CFO and Head of Corporate at XICA, building our corporate functions and leading two rounds of equity finance. His career began at Goldman Sachs Japan, where he rose from analyst to Vice President over a decade in Global Investment Research, advising leading institutional clients on consumer technology and media.

A graduate of Waseda University’s School of International Liberal Studies, Masaru combines analytical excellence with polished board-level insight. His leadership has been critical in advancing financial discipline, investor engagement, and governance in both public and private sectors.

At E‑HOUSING, Masaru will help shape our financial roadmap, drive fundraising and investor strategy, establish robust governance, and mentor our emerging finance team. His insight, leadership, and strategic clarity will be invaluable as we scale toward becoming Japan’s premier real-estate tech brokerage for global residents.
